Is there a distinct difference other than color when it comes to this gold. Webdec 6, 2012 · i'm not convinced that later vintage model 336 gold plated triggers were actually plated using gold, or rather plated with something else having a gold. Marlin 1894 357 mag, 44 mag, 45 colt (and all the pistol calibers) does.
