Webapr 22, 2014 · i just used a long 4g wire ground wire i found at autozone and bolted it to the neg. The other explanation is that the ground wire gauge is way. Always use a heavy ground cable and connect one end to the negative battery terminal, and the other end to the starter motor or engine. Battery terminal and to the bottom starter mounting bolt. Fixed the issue 100%.
